Various themes run through our work. When we give them names and apply them to images then we can present them with examples as a gateway to discovery.

We occasionally create additional pages that reuse daily challenge photos when details should not be forgotten.

Photos are grouped by their distance from my home. These correspond roughly to travel by socks, shoes, bicycle, car and airplane.

An undirected sequence offers a passive view of the total collection. Hover offers more insight by showing tags present or page titles when meaningful. A click can open related details in an adjacent page.

We resist systematically naming pages but when our goal is a routine practice then for recording purposes at least exploiting the system makes sense. Samples make this less tedious.

We identify images where the vanishing point appears within the field of view. When this comes from horizontal lines we call it "outward", for verticals we use "upward" or "downward".

Within a month or two we became serious about selecting a subject for the week. Now half way through the year we find that some weeks go well with others in a lineup.

I stopped to photograph a neighborhood little library with the door open and the available titles visible. I've noticed more of these recording each as I find them.
